Metallica-Ride The Lightning (Deluxe Remaster) (2016)

Metallica have revealed the contents of the deluxe editions of Kill Em All and Ride the Lightning that they will be putting out this spring. Each album has been remastered and will be available on CD and vinyl, as well as in a deluxe box set. In addition to the original albums, the lavish box sets will contain original source material from the band's vaults, including previously unreleased music, and a book containing rare photos and essays. Ride the Lightning will also contain four vinyl records, along with six CDs, a DVD and a book with previously undistributed photos, a mini-book of James Hetfield's handwritten lyrics, and three posters. Hetfield introduces the band as "a bunch of alcoholics from California to the audience and dedicates to the people who had the group's early demos and all the old stuff.
